Following the successful two editions of Auto SCM Summit in Pune, India’s auto hub will once again be the venue for the third edition of Auto SCM Summit scheduled for 5 to 6 of December 2018 at the Courtyard Marriott, Chakan, Pune.

By 2020, up to 40 percent of consumers are expected to book repair and maintenance services online and about 30 percent will go online to purchase vehicle accessories, up from 14 percent and 8 percent respectively. India's automobile industry has a potential to generate up to $300 billion in annual revenue by 2026 and will contribute towards 12 percent of the country’s Gross Domestic Product.

Is the industry in line with ‘Mission Electric’- Government’s Mission of All-electric vehicle by 2030 and Ola’s plans to put 1 million EVs on Indian roads by 2021? India is way behind in lithium and cobalt reserves which is essential for EVs battery production. Moreover, GST is 28 percent on these import items.
