John Kibira Mathenge

John Kibira Mathenge is the Executive Director of Federation of East African Freight Forwarders Associations (FEAFFA) for the past 8 years with experience spanning over 22 years in the freight logistics industry.
He is a graduate in Economics and a diploma holder in business management. He has several international certificates on freight logistics international trade and trade facilitation.
Mathenge is a trainer and consultant, advisor in freight logistics, trade facilitation and capacity building or training.
Among other positions, he has served/is serving as a member of Customs tribunal in Kenya, a member of the management committee of the Regional Customs Bond Guarantee scheme, a member of the steering committee of the Tripartite Transport and Transit Facilitation Program.
He is leading the transformation of the customs agents and freight forwarding industry in East Africa into a full time profession
