Yvonne Otieno, the Agriprenuer of Miyonga Fresh Greens has over 16 years of experience in international organisations as a development communication specialist. Since establishment in September 2014, the company has worked with farmers in Kenya to produce and sell high quality produce for export.

The company has won four awards including Sinapis business plan competition at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2014, Gender in Innovation in Agriculture Award 2016 and Social Impact Award in Nairobi Innovation week 2017 and most recently was selected among Top 50 innovators in Africa at the Africa Innovation Summit 2018.

Her focus is in reduction of food waste through farmer certification, value addition and market facilitation.
